COMING SOON!! “Saving Your Rainforest Mind–A Guided Journal for the Curious, Creative, Smart, & Sensitive”

It’s almost here! Book three in the Rainforest Mind trilogy! This one is a guided journal. Here is a description from the introduction:

“…This guided journal is your opportunity to take a deep dive into the highly sensitive seeker that is you. You’ll be shown how to increase your understanding, acceptance, and celebration of your multiple complexities through writing prompts, questions, structured exercises, and examples from my own journals. You’ll create, analyze, draw, design, visualize, laugh, and cry as you take the journey to find your authentic voice and paths to your uniquely passionate, powerful, and purposeful life.

I’ll be your guide as you grapple with your fears, doubts, questions, conundrums, and mysteries. I’ll be here as you untangle the sticky vines and explore, examine, and revive the exuberant life force that is you. I’ll be your guide to recovering your strength, authenticity, and magnificence. The magnificence that may have been crushed under the pressure to be smartest, under the bully’s taunts, the schooling frustrations, the expectations of exemplary achievement and traditional success, the devastating loneliness, the racism, homophobia, or antisemitism, the overwhelm, the underwhelm, or the rubble of your ancestral baggage. I’ve included my own journal entries in a section at the end of the book so you know I’ve done my own grappling, a good amount of climbing out of the dysfunctional family legacy, and recovering and celebrating my authenticity and radiance…”

I do not have a specific launch date yet but I will let you know as soon as I know. (no pre-orders yet) I’m hoping for later in May. I will announce it here and on my other social media sites. Instagram. Facebook. Twitter. Linked In. TikTok. (I get around!)

If you don’t have my first two books yet, now would be a good time to grab them so you have a complete set! Book one, Your Rainforest Mind: A Guide to the Well-Being of Gifted Adults and Youth, is the in-depth analysis of rainforest-mindedness in gifted adults and teens through case studies of former counseling clients, and includes many resources for further study. Book two, Your Rainforest Mind: A Field Guide for Gifted Adults and Teens. Book Lovers, Overthinkers, Geeks, Sensitives, Brainiacs, Intuitives, Procrastinators, and Perfectionists, is a collection of my most popular blog posts from the first four years of the blog. It is a light-hearted look at giftedness so a good book to share with friends and family. And now, book three is the journal that will take you on a deep dive into your very particular rainforest mind to explore your twist-y turn-y, deep thought-y, mystical realm-y adorable self! Included at the end of the book are some of my own journal entries so you can get a peek into my angsty wild wholesome self-doubting curly-haired melancholy magical world.

So, my dearest rainforesters, look for the big announcement. Coming soon!

Oh this sounds like a book we can really delve into and spend significant time exploring ourselves, knowing that you have our backs and will help guide us through the turbulent white water rapids that occur. So need this to get going again in earnest on the journey. Marvelous!! Can’t wait.
